Dr. Hasnat Khan, the rumored love of the late Princess Diana, purportedly told her to move back into Pakistan with him. He was not a socialite and could foresee that his marriage with a Princess would not work. He doubted that she could adapt to the different culture of Pakistan, isolation from her British roots, family and two sons. He desired to place his career, profession, patients and personal values above all.

Dr. Hasnat and Princess Diana were on a break when Diana took up with Dodi Fayed. It was supposed to make him jealous and win him back but she failed to convince Hasnat. After Diana’s tragic death, he returned to Pakistan. His parents got him match-made and married.
