Every single living thing deals with stress. While we cannot eliminate stress entirely from our diet, we can consciously reduce it by using stress busters.
Stress busters.
1) Choose daily work carefully. Plan to accomplish what is comfortably within your capabilities to avoid subjecting yourself to stress.
2) Tackle your tasks in order of priorities. Please avoid procrastination. Leaving a task right down to the last minute will invariably place stress because it will bother you at the back of your mind.
3) Face compulsory changes with a positive attitude. Have you heard of the famous book, “Who Moved My Cheese?” It deals with handling changes positively.
4) Seek help in any way if possible. Even talking about a problem might open up insights about possible solutions. Two heads are better than one.
5) Family and friends help to keep one grounded. The propblem may not seem so big when you relate it to others in your same social setting.
6) Practice confidence. Stress is an induced state that can be defeated when you are confident of yourself.
7) Positive thinking will push away stress. Wouldn’t you like to push stress off the cliff with the Mighty Power of Positive Thinking?
A balanced diet provides the necessary internal backup to combat physical stress. There are many supplements like calming teas; chamomile, lavendar teas are good. So are the aromatherapy essential oils.
9) Take time out for breaks.
10) Practice relaxation techniques like meditation, yoga, breathing exercises. You can learn about these from internet research or books published by authorities in those areas.
