Doctor took photo of “Hot Rod” tattoo on patient’s penis.
Dr. Adam Hansen, from Arizon’s Mayo Clinic
Hospital, has committed a serious breach of patient confidentiality. He took a
photo of his patient’s penis because it was tattooed with the words, “Hot Rod.”
Not satisfied with that, he even passed around this evidence of his offence to
his colleagues. What had gone into his head? Dr. Hansen faces the hospital’s
disciplinary hearing next Wednesday. He could be sacked.
Sean Dubowik, 37, the patient, said he felt
violated, betrayed and disgusted. He misplaced his trust in Dr. Hansen. He said
he would consult an attorney.
