David Letterman’s show will continue on Jan. 2.  He made a private deal with the Writers’ association. Letterman has a company which produces another show, The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson by his company Worldwide Pants. This show will also be allowed back on air.

David Letterman said that he was grateful to WGA for this deal. The other thousands of writers are still on strike over pay negotiations.
